About the Role
- Support the QA team in testing web applications and ensuring product quality.
- Work with developers and stakeholders to support quality releases.
- Gain hands-on experience in software testing and defect management.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing, including functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Review requirements and user stories to understand expected functionality.
- Create and execute test cases based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects with clear documentation.
- Support test documentation and apply analytical thinking to find edge cases.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of software testing concepts and QA fundamentals.
- Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and defect reporting.
- Ability to create test cases from requirements or user stories.
- Familiarity with bug tracking processes.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have
- Basic knowledge of automation testing tools such as Cypress or Playwright.
- Basic understanding of API testing and APIs.
- Basic knowledge of web and responsive UI testing.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have completed B.E. / B.Tech in any branch.
